Once you have linked your PCT Agcloud account with Operations Center™ and set the correct permissions, you can import fields from or upload fields to Operations Center™. The steps for both processes are listed below.
-Note: When a field is imported or uploaded it is also automatically linked to its equivalent Field in Operations Center™.
- Import
1. In View, click the 'Setup' dropdown in the Right Click Menu and select the 'Import Fields from MyJD'.
Or, in the Setup tool, select the 'Field Editor' dropdown, click the 'Import/Upload fields' button, and click 'Import from MyJD'.
2. Select the Operations Center™ Organization
- Overwrite Boundary - Will overwrite the PCT Agcloud boundary with the Operations Center™ Boundary. Not overwriting will link the field but not change any boundaries.
- Only link existing - It is recommend to have this on if the fields already exist in PCT Agcloud. It will link and import any fields from Operations Center™ that match field names within PCT Agcloud, but won't import any that do not match. This can be used as a check to see if the names match exactly in both systems.
3. Select the desired fields.
4. Click 'Import'.
Once imported, the Field name will show a John Deere symbol next to the name, denoting that it is linked to Operations Center™.
- Upload
1. In the Setup tool, select the 'Field Editor' dropdown.
2. Click the 'Import/Upload Fields' button and click 'Upload Fields to MyJD'.
3. Select the Level at which you want to upload.
- Grower will upload ALL Field Boundaries for the selected Grower.
- Farm will upload ALL Field Boundaries for the selected Farm.
- Field will upload the Field Boundary for the selected Field.
4. Choose the Operations Center™ Organisation to send to.
5. Click 'Upload'
Once uploaded the Field name will show a John Deere symbol next to the name, denoting that it is linked to MyJD.
