Adjusting Yield and Creating Derivatives

Once you have edited and created a Yield Layer, you can adjust the yield to match scale tickets by adding or multiplying bushels.

Example:   Scale Tickets total is 8500 bushels.   PCT total is 10,718 bushels

Multiply Value = actual total / PCT total = 8,500 bu / 10,718.32 bu = 0.79303       

Add bu Value = actual total – PCT Total = 8,500 bu – 10,718.32 bu = -2218.32

Once the Yield is correct you can create Yield Revenue, Profit, and Nutrient Removal maps by entering the proper number for the given units.
