This article will overview layer creation in Data Editor.

Steps:

1. To create a layer in Data Editor, begin by navigating to the Data Edit tool.

2. Select the field, layer type, and time filter (current, last, or archived) from the top ribbon.

3. Then, click the '+' button next to the desired field.

4. Select the 'Layers' tab, and select the layer you would like to create.

5. Then, click 'Create'.

Info regarding the various filters within Data Editor (located along the left ribbon) can be found here: https://pctagcloud-support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/51000381835-data-editor.

Operations that have an implement width like Planting, Application, Tillage, and Harvest will calculate a % coverage upon import. With Auto Process checked before import, all Planting, Application, and Tillage datasets with over 75% field coverage will have layers automatically created.

Not all information imported will have a layer created. If there is a map you would like to see you can select it under the layers tab and hit create. The same process applies to crops harvested that don’t Auto Process by clicking Yield under the Layers Tab.

If you have data that didn’t Auto Process because coverage was lower than 95% you can uncheck fill to Boundary Button, click save, then create.
