The 'Multi Product/Single Field + ST' tab in the Rx tool allows you to create prescriptions and/or strip trials using one or more products. The 'Multi Product/Single Field + ST' tab in the Rx tool operates the same application as the 'Multi Rx + Strip Trial Plan' button in View.
Create and Run Rx
1. Click the 'Multi Product/Single Field + ST' tab and select a single Field.
2. Select a single layer.
3. Pick a product type.
4. Pick a product from the dropdown or use the '+' button to enter a product manually.
5. If creating an Rx for multiple products click 'Add another product'.
6. Choose a zone type and number of zones (if it is already a zoned map there is no need to change anything).
7. 'Smooth map' and 'remove small regions' are options to simplify the Rx map.
8. Click 'Run Rx'.
Create Strip Trials
Use known AB line latitudes and longitudes to align with the planter or combine or use imported guidance lines. More info on guidance lines here: https://pctagcloud-support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/folders/51000430950.
1. Once the Rx has been run, click 'Edit layer'.
2. You can further edit the zones by renaming them and by using the paint tools.
3. Get AB lines to base the strip trials on by clicking the 'Show AB lines' button.
4. Select or import the desired AB lines and click 'Ok'.
5. Once AB Lines are set you can set up the strip trial design. Do this by clicking the 'Add test strips' button.
6. You can create the strip trial in the tool by changing the settings of Orientation & Size, Treatments, and Replicates, or you can upload a trial from a .CSV file. Once the trial has been set click 'Ok'.
7. Then enter names or the desired rates under Name to designate the different treatments and click 'Ok'.
8. Then, enter the desired rates under 'Rate'.
9. Check the box for 'Download shapefiles & report' to save the layer, download the pdf report, and download the shapefile. Then click 'Save Shapefiles'.
