Creating Elevation and Elevation Derivative Layers

Created by Info Admin, Modified on Tue, 16 Jan at 11:39 AM by Info Admin

If an operation is mapped using RTK guidance, elevation layer creation is available. This can be done in the Data Editor tool.

Once an elevation layer is created, you can utilize the 3D View function.

Steps:

1. In the Data Editor tool, select an operation that was performed using RTK guidance. It is recommended to use planting or similar operations for elevation layer creation, as these types of operations have less up-and-down variance when compared to that of spraying or harvesting.

2. Select the 'Layers' tab.

3. Select the 'Elevation' layer tab.

4. Click 'Create'.

5. After the layer has been created, any of the Elevation Derivative layers to the right can be created by clicking 'Create Layer'. For this example, an Aspect layer will be created.

6. Once the layer has been created, a new layer tab will appear for the layer. Click on the tab to view the layer.
