Turn on Automated Imagery Download

Importing Imagery automatically is as easy as turning on the buttons for the data you would like us to deliver automatically to you when it's available.

-Note: When this option is enabled for Growers that have the auto-upload option turned on for the Operations Center integration, the ability to have automated imagery in Operations Center is unlocked. Click HERE to learn how to enable auto-upload.

To turn on Automated Imagery for specific Growers, navigate to the Setup tool, select the 'Grower Editor' dropdown, click the 'More Options' button represented by the three dots next to the desired grower, and click the 'Satamap' button.

Choose 'Field Editor' or 'Farm Editor' and follow the same steps if you want to enable this feature at just the Field or Farm level, respectively.

Select the desired Indicies, Interval, and Turn Off date.

  • "Sentinel" indices will reflect the images available for viewing within the Imagery tab in View. The color scale for these images will be specific to each individual layer. The "Fixed" indices will use one color scale for the entire season and are good for tracking the growth of a crop across the growing season.
  • The Interval will determine how often the system will search for the latest available image.
  • The Turn Off date will disable the automated download after the specified date so that images are not saved outside of the growing season.

To import historical imagery data that may have been missed as a result of a lapsed Satamap subscription, see this article: https://pctagcloud-support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/51000381803-importing-historical-imagery.
