Layers created in PCT Agcloud prior to linking will not automatically show in Operations Center™. The steps below will show how to link the preexisting layers as well as remove linked layers.
Manually Link Layers to Operations Center™
- Load the required layers in the View tool.
- To send the group of layers, click the '+' in the "Operations Center layers summary" area.
- To send an individual layer, select the '...' button next to the layer, click 'MyJD', and choose a file type to send.
- Upload Layer - this is a contribution layer and is a 'picture' with a color table and some stats provided by PCT Agcloud. Any layers can be uploaded like this.
- Upload Raw Adapt - this will create an ADAPT file of any machine type for Planting and Harvest operations only (as of Feb 28th, 2019).
- Upload Clean Adapt - this option will create the ADAPT file from the cleaned edited data.
-Note: Both Upload Raw and Upload Clean will be coverage layers in Operations Center™.
- Upload Processed Adapt - will upload the raster and interpolate surfaces created by Agcloud. This is the best possible data a user can get. Moisture, Speed, and Fuel Rate can also be loaded to give the growers the full experience of properly constructed and accurate data not currently found in the Operation Center™.
Remove Layers from Operations Center™
- To delete the group of layers, click the 'Trash' button in the "Operations Center™ layers summary" area.
- To delete an individual layer, select the '...' button next to the layer, click 'Agworld', and 'Remove from Operations Center'.
Note: This will delete the layer in Operations Center™ but the layer will remain in PCT Agcloud as an unlinked layer. If a linked layer is deleted in PCT Agcloud it will automatically be deleted in Operations Center™ to keep both systems synchronised.
If required, deleted PCT Agcloud layers can be re-created from the Dataset. For info on this process, see the following link: https://pctagcloud-support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/51000381748-creating-layers-in-data-editor.
