This article will show how to use the Compare Tool in View. The compare tool requires that you display two maps.
To learn more about displaying multiple maps, see the following link:
Steps:
1. Click the 'Toolbox' button in View and select the 'Compare Tool' tab.
2. Click the 'Add Map' button and select the layers that you would like to compare.
3. In the Compare Tool pane, select the layers you would like to use for the left and right maps.
4. Set the Zone Configuration Settings.
-Note: The only zoning settings that are required are the 'Number of Intervals' or the 'Interval Size'. If you are working with a zoned layer or only have a small number of values (ex. variety) you will have to choose a number of zones. Additional zones will not be added if there are fewer zones than the number chosen.
5. Click 'Compare Layers' to run the analysis and generate a .PDF report.
-Note: If the layers chosen are available in multiple fields you can choose to run the comparison across the Farm or Grower level.
