Editing and Exporting Boundaries

To Edit or Export a Boundary, follow the steps below.

Exporting a Boundary

Steps:

1. Navigate to the Setup tool by selecting 'Go to Setup...' from the 'Setup' dropdown in the Right-Click Menu in View or by clicking 'Setup' in Tools. 

2. If you want to export one field, then select the 'Field Editor' dropdown. You can export boundaries at the Grower and Farm level as well. 

3. Select the 'Options' button represented by the three dots.

4. Select the desired export option from the list. KML, PCTv and Shapefile (most common).

Editing a Boundary

Steps:

1. In the 'Field Editor' dropdown click 'More options' button (represented by the '...' next to the desired field).

2. Click 'Edit Boundary'. 

In this dialogue box, you can edit everything to do with the boundary, but to edit the actual polygon you must click on the line to show the vertices. Click and drag to move them and add more.

If you have datasets you can display them to use as guides for drawing more accurate boundaries.

3. Once you have finished click 'Save'.

-Note: If the field is connected to Operations Center™, you have the option to update the boundary on the Operation Center™ site as well. Use with caution.
