There are a couple of ways to import prescriptions and zoned layers from other software platforms into PCT. Some files will have the proper header information in the .dbf file to import straight away as shown below.
Others may only have one header or not enough information to properly import. These will need an accompanying .txt file. Both management zone and Rx file examples are attached below. (Note: if it opens in a browser and doesn't save, you can right-click anywhere on the new page and click 'save as').
You can edit the file in Windows Notepad or similar software. The header line should match the .dbf attribute you want to import.
Save the .txt file once filled out, then change the file name to match the rest of the file names in the shapefile.
Zip all the files together and import them as a 'Planning' Operation.
