Add/Link Growers, Farms, and Fields From Agworld

See the video or article below to learn how to import and/or link Growers, Farms, and Fields into PCT from Agworld. 

This process can be done from the View tool or the Setup tool. Steps for both are detailed below.

1. In View, click the 'Setup' dropdown in the Right-Click Menu and select 'Import Fields from Agworld'. 

Or in Setup, select the 'Field Editor' dropdown, click the 'Import/Upload Fields' button, and click 'Import Fields from Agworld'.

2. Select the "Import level".

• 'Dealer' will import/link all selected Growers, Farms, and Fields under the Dealer selected in the DGFF tree. 
• 'Grower will import/link all selected Farms and Fields under the Grower selected in the DGFF tree.
• 'Farm' will import/link all selected Fields under the Farm selected in the "Farm" dropdown. The Farms available to select in the dropdown are dependent on the Grower selected in the DGFF tree.

3. Select 'Overwrite boundary' and/or 'Only link existing' options.

• Overwrite Boundary - When this option is selected, if matching Fields exist between the two systems, the boundaries in PCT will be updated with the Agworld boundaries. If unselected, the matching Fields will link if the names match, but will not update the boundary in PCT.
• Only link existing - It is recommended to select this if fields already exist in PCT Agcloud. When this option is selected, Fields within PCT that match names with Fields in Agworld will be linked, but no new Fields will be imported. This can be used as a check to see if names match exactly in both systems. In order for the Fields to be linked, the Grower, Farm, and or Field names must match, depending on the Import level selected. 

4. Select the Growers, Farms, and Fields to import/link from Agworld.

-Note: The Field boundaries in Agworld must be under the current season to display in the import window in PCT.

5. Click 'Import'.
