Adding Yield Values to Management Zones (Create Yield Prediction Layers)

Created by Info Admin, Modified on Thu, 11 Jan at 1:38 PM by Info Admin

You can add yield values to management zones in the Analytics tool. The resulting layer can be saved as a Yield Prediction layer or as a Management Zones layer. This process is explained below.

In the Analytics tool, under the 'Yield' tab with the correct field selected, choose the desired Management Zones layer and Yield layer and click 'Run Analysis'.

-Tip: You cannot add more than one Yield layer and achieve the result of adding values to management zones; however, to utilize more than one season of yield data, create a Yield Average layer in the Analytics tool and combine it with the Management Zones layer. Then, the combined map will be displayed along with the legend which shows the attributed yield values for each zone.

By clicking the 'Edit' button, you can manually edit the zones using the paint tools, add AB lines and Strip Trials, edit the values in the yield column, add zones, use names for the zones, or add a moisture probe location.

To change the layer to a Management Zones layer, click the 'management zones' button. From there you can edit zone names and add zones.

When saving as a Yield Potential layer, set the crop and yield values and click 'Apply'.

When you are satisfied with your Management Zones layer or Yield Potential layer, click 'Save'.
