View Tool: Basic Navigation

PCT Agcloud is a web-based portal that contains a structured set of tools.

The vast majority of these functions are accessed from the View tool.

Once you log in you will be automatically taken to View.

Basic Navigational Areas of the View Tool:

GFF Tree

The GFF tree is displayed when the Boundaries Function is selected. It allows you to select the Dealer, Grower, Farm(s), and Field(s) that is displayed in the map. The selected boundaries will be highlighted in blue and the unselected boundaries will be black. To select or unselect a boundary, click within it. Below the GFF tree, you can see info on your current PCT subscription, and you can select labels to be displayed in the map. 

Function Selection

You have the ability to access multiple different functions within the View tool. Below are short descriptions of the functions. 

	Boundaries	Use to select active Fields and show labels.
	Layers	Layers - Use to select and display layers.
	Satellite Imagery	Use to access satellite imagery including in-season and historical imagery.
	Soil Sampling	Use to visualise Soil Sampling results and create sampling plans.
	Permanent Crops	Use to access and utilize specialised permanent cropping (trees, vines, etc.) data.
	IoT	Internet of Things -  Connect in-field IoT sensors.  Available in future releases.

Map Tools

The Map Tools allow you to zoom in and out, zoom to the selected field(s), access the Layer Inspect and Measurement Tools, display the Toolbox pane, and View Multiple Maps. The Toolbox contains a Compare Tool for multi-layer comparisons, a Zone Painting Tool for manual zone creation, a Test Strip Setup Tool for strip trial creation, and a Farming Type Setup tool for creating farming types. 

Right-Click Menu

The Right-Click Menu contains many shortcuts to tools found elsewhere within PCT Agcloud. It is accessed by right-clicking within a field boundary on the map. 

Tools

The Tools button displays a menu from which you can choose any of the many other tools in PCT Agcloud.

Settings Dropdown

The Settings Dropdown allows you to access the My Settings page and the Org. Manager page (if you are an Org. Admin user), reset, see what's new in PCT, and log out.

Links directly to the Knowledge Base help articles.

Chat Box

Gives access to PCT Support where you can ask questions and request info or assistance.
